General Information

All our dishes are homemade using fresh ingredients of the finest quality; main dishes are cooked to order and served with a selection of at least six fresh vegetables.
Lighter Lunches are also available and range from filled double decker rolls through to Slow Roast Belly Pork and Beef Chilli.

The Three Crowns cares about more than just food though, from the moment you walk through the door your senses will be aware of the warm, friendly atmosphere and easy going ambiance carefully created and tended by Licencees Anthony and Allyson Windle along with their very capable staff.
Being Innkeepers of the Year in 1999 acknowledges the attention to all aspects of running a successful pub.

A wide range of superbly kept Cask Ales, the traditional "English Pint", along with keg beers and Largers, an ever increasing range of soft drinks along with the popular and less well known spirits. Anthony takes pride in his wine menu which along with our wine merchants he has carefully chosen, and tasted, although not all at the same time!! We can now boast a menu of over 80 Wines, coming from almost all the corners of the earth and ranging from a modest £12 up to £70.

In winter there is the open log fire whilst in summer doors are flung open and a peaceful patio and garden can be enjoyed, we even have patio heaters for added comfort as the evening turns cool.

The Hard Facts
We're a pub not a restaurant, however if you arrive during the hours of food service we WILL feed you, as long as we know you wish to eat. We do try to be flexible but please remember, our staff and ourselves do need food and sleep sometimes !!

We are pleased to offer limited bookings in the Garden Room, at lunch times and before 7:30pm Monday to Friday, and at Weekends before 12:30pm, also Sunday evenings. No bookings are taken for the conservatory or lounge.

It's also fair to say that at busy times there may be a waiting list in operation, we will keep you informed of this on your arrival and rest assured the staff will be working as hard as they can to attend to you.

There is a no smoking policy in the conservatory and garden room dinning areas but there are also tables available for those who wish to smoke. We have a number of air purifiers throughout the pub and seldom have "smoke filled bars".
