First opened as The Three Crowns in 1801 it possibly dates back further still under a different name, (our research continues).
The pub was registered in Kelly's directories in 1927 as a "Hotel" serving teas and light refreshments. In 1987 the current licensees arrived and since then have developed this quiet little pub into one of the regions most popular eating venues.

Refreshment is available from the Bar (including coffee)
11am - 3pm, and 6pm - 11 pm Monday To Saturday
12noon - 4pm and 6pm - 10.30 pm on Sundays.
